Apparently things weren’t going bad enough for a family in Daytona Beach, Florida.
An urn fashioned to look like a motorcycle engine and was intended to hold the ashes of a man and his son was stolen from a Daytona Beach home.
Craig Aumack, 33, was killed Saturday in a motorcycle crash, and before his death, his wish was for his ashes to be placed in the special urn that held the remains of his father, who was known as “Pops.”
“You don’t steal from the dead. That’s a sin,” said Tracy Vaughn, Craig Aumack’s ex-wife. “I don’t know if the person who stole it realizes it’s an urn. They probably think it’s a motorcycle part.”"It was very, very important to me. It was ‘Poppa’ and he was really, really good,” said Craig Aumack’s 7-year-old daughter, Olivia.
The Aumacks believe someone broke into their house the day after Craig Aumack’s death, stealing the homemade urn, a Harley-Davidson jacket and a laptop computer.
